Welcome to Tathra Beachside

In direct response to reducing the risk of COVID -19, we're changing the way we usually do things. ( updated 27th March)

We are now temporarily closed for all holiday bookings. Our park is currently still open & accepting bookings, to meet the needs of essential travellers ONLY, &  those with no permanent residence. However we are currently in very trying times and are doing everything we can to help flatten the curve & keep you, our team & our community safe.
All our staff have completed infectious diseases Covid 19 training with dept health & we have implemented strict cleaning & sanitising procedures, but thats not enough!
There is some more important information we need to share with you.
1. Please reschedule your booking if you have travelled from a country that is at high or moderate risk of covid- 19, or if the booking is for a holiday or business travel and it is non essential travel. We have relaxed our postponement policy to help you. Email us info@tathrabeachside.com.au, send a facebook message or call on 0264941302. For all Autumn holiday and Easter bookings who postpone, we will price-freeze your booking for next year & transfer your full deposit without any penalty. For cancellations after April, our cancellation policy terms and conditions apply.
If you are  an essential traveller, or a guest who has no current  permanent place of residence  & are staying with us, the following applies.
2. If you are feeling unwell or showing any signs of Covid -19. Please call Health Direct on 1800 022 222, then proceed immediately to South East Regional Hospital in Bega. You must keep us informed & updated in this situation.
3. Please wash your hands frequently with soap & warm water for at least 20 seconds. Especially after touching your face, before and after eating, using the bathroom or any public area. You can also use hand sanitiser which we have around our property.
4. Avoid touching your face & If you sneeze or cough, make sure you do this into a tissue and dispose of it immediately and safely.
5. Please keep a safe physical distance from staff, other guests & community members. 1.5mtrs is recommended. Infectious diseases such as Covid – 19 are spread in droplets which can travel 1 mtr when speaking. When you check in at reception or purchase essentials, keep a distance and dont lean on our counter. We have a limit of 3 guests in reception at a time, so wait out doors in fresh air and sunshine.
6. Choose activities you can do with your family in the privacy of your room, cabin, caravan or tent such as board games, cards, reading or watching movies, rather than in communal areas.
7. Dispose of food wrappers, paper plates, cutlery, coffee cups etc into the bins provided.
8. Do not be alarmed if you see our staff out and about, disinfecting our high traffic areas or any public places within the park. We have implemented additional health & hygiene procedures.
9. Be kind & patient with our staff, cleaning is taking longer & is more frequent.  We know this can be frustrating, but your safety is important. Bookings, cancellations, rebookings & following new procedures also take time, it's a difficult time for our front line team too, and we are running on minimum staffing.
10. Wherever possible avoid using cash to purchase products or pay for your stay, we take eftpos, PayWave, Bpay, payment plan & charge to room.
11. We have moved apart  our essential travellers bookings to leave more free space and a safer social distance. This means we can accommodate much fewer people and fewer bookings than usual. Please book ahead if your booking is for essential travel & you intend coming to stay, don't asume we can fit you in. This also gives our team time to prepare for your arrival.
12. We have posponed all non essential activities that encourage gatherings such as kids club, family entertainment, Sunday sessions, morning teas, jumping cushion, playground, pool, waterpark, our amenities & camp kitchen. We have strict Covid 19 cleaning and disinfecting proceedures in all high traffic areas. Please excercise caution & follow social distancing & hand washing guidelines if using any areas that remain open for essential services.
